I must first state that I have never been to the site you are plugging. And I don't feel threatened or offended in any way.
But, when you come here and tout your other site, it's very much like if I were eating dinner at the Outback Steakhouse with my family and someone were to come in wearing the plywood tent that say's, "Eat at Chili's." And said person wearing the advertisement board walked around the restaurant telling everybody to go there.
While said person is essentially doing nothing wrong, it does come across as being done in very poor taste.

Peace is free.

I hear what you are saying average joe, but the difference is... there is no $$$ involved here. At the outback they provide a service and products for $$$, so advertising in search of their market share is messed up.

Regarding free websites, I don't agree.

Anyhow, just like yourself, I am a member of many forums. They all get their members somewhere, right?

My bad analogy was more to just illustrate a point that by going to other places and trying to get people to leave is just poor taste.

Peace.
